Maple Park Apartments Undergoing A Complete Rehabilitation

Chillicothe is well noted as the claimed home of sliced bread, but we offer much more than that historical footnote. Our newly completed rehabilitation at Shawnee Trails Apartments is part of our contribution to this fine community in northwestern Missouri.

Shawnee Place Apartments, formerly Maple Park Apartments, located just a few blocks off of Highway 65 in northern Chillicothe, Missouri is undergoing a complete rehabilitation that began in early December 2014. Our one bedroom units are being completely reconditioned and refurbished for an outstanding new lifestyle for our residents. All 48 existing apartment units are undergoing total upgrades by adding stackable washers and dryers, built in microwaves, frost free refrigerators, dishwashers, laminate wood flooring, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, self-cleaning ovens, new central heat and air, and insulated double windows. Rehab construction is expected to be complete and our wonderful newly designed apartments are expected to be open for our residents by the end of summer in 2015.

Shawnee Place has 48 family units and is located just a few blocks off of Highway 65 in northern Chillicothe. With easy access to all parts of the city and to nearby routes out of town, our beautiful one bedroom units are an ideal location for your new home. Shawnee Place is a tax credit / Rural Development community, so income guidelines will apply. Rental assistance may be available through Rural Development or Section 8 Assistance. Family services has both food stamps and Medicaid. Heat assistance may be available through LiHeap.
