Groundbreaking for Founders Ridge Apartments in Papillion, Nebraska

On September 19th, 2023, Trinity Housing Development had a ground breaking ceremony for their first 55+ housing development in Nebraska, Founders Ridge Apartments located at 12925 Constitution Blvd Papillion, Nebraska. Attendees for this celebration included executives from Trinity Housing Development, Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor of Papillion Nebraska, Housing Foundation for Sarpy County, Congressman Flood Staff and Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA).

A special thanks to Nebraska Investment Finance Authority as without their program, affordable housing would not be where it is today.

Trinity Housing Development received an award for Founders Ridge in 2021 as an answer to the need for additional affordable housing in the Sarpy County area after flooding in the Spring of 2019 caused the loss of nearly 400 homes in the area. The property will have 68 units of all 2 bedrooms that feature modern kitchens with energy-efficient appliances, in-unit laundry, large closets, and on-site maintenance. A community space serves as a gathering place for activities, other amenities include a lounge areas, fitness center and computer stations. Outdoor amenities include walking trail and raised garden beds.

Papillion Mayor David Black expressed his excitement about this investment of new affordable housing opportunities in Papillion and thanked all the partners that made this project a reality and for their investment in the Papillion Community.
